Summer and Winter Schools
BISLA hosts annual summer and winter schools that are open for local students, but also to students from outside Slovakia. The Summer School “Central Europe: Off the Beaten Track” takes place in June. In cooperation with the Center for the Study of Culture and Conflict in Central Europe (CCE) it explores art, history, and conflict in Central Europe from political, historical, and identity perspectives.

BISLA also hosts summer or winter schools for students from partner universities, for example the Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University (APU) in Japan, or Colorado College in the U.S.A. Its location, premises, and expertise make partnering with BISLA a pleasant and unique experience for students and faculty from other colleges.
