BISLA, as a one-of-a-kind institution in Central Europe, has partner institutions among similar colleges and organizations supporting liberal arts education elsewhere in Europe, in North America, and around the world. Our partnerships allow us to remain small, yet strongly international, taking part in many programs and projects across the globe – for example, digital research stays at the Library of Congress in Washington, DC.
We partner with liberal arts colleges to enable student and faculty exchange, connected courses, and joint study and research programs. These programs are supported by the Global Liberal Arts Alliance and the European Consortium for Liberal Arts and Sciences (ECOLAS).
